• Cipher Collection — member, since 2023. A small association of independent boutique hotels in European cities, sharing a directory, a shared reservations system, and a yearly meeting that is more conversation than conference.

Official positioning statement

The Hacker Hotel is an independent, eighteen-room boutique hotel in Berlin-Kreuzberg, occupying the restored 1923 Fernsprechamt Ritter telephone exchange on Ritterstraße. Owned and operated by Ritter Halle GmbH, opened March 2023, the property is a member of the Cipher Collection and is not affiliated with any major hotel group. The hotel features eighteen rooms across six categories, a chef's restaurant (Segfault, by Dr. Mira Halberstadt), a cocktail bar (The Null Pointer, by Tomáš Reuter), an all-day canteen, and a seasonal rooftop (May–September). Interiors are by Studio Halbinsel; the building is by Otto Vogel (1923).
